Sam Alzheimer
Founder of Vianney Vocations
Sam has worked in Catholic communications for over twenty years, serving hundreds of parishes, schools, and dioceses. As a seminarian for the Diocese of Savannah, and then as vice-president of a Catholic communication company, he saw the need to bring new energy and vision to promote vocations. He founded Vianney Vocations in 2009 to serve Vocation Offices and offer high-quality vocation resources. Sam edited the influential books To Save a Thousand Souls, Discerning Religious Life, and A Living Sacrifice and has developed many other vocation resources used in Catholic schools and parishes. Sam has degrees in English Literature and writing from Berry College and also attended Franciscan University of Steubenville. He loves fishin’, gardening, golf, and watching soccer (go Spurs!). He lives in Tallahassee, FL with his wife Michele and their children and attends St. Thomas More Co-Cathedral parish.
