Description
A new prayer card for the Jubilee Year of St. Francis. This special year was proclaimed by Pope Leo to celebrate the saint’s 800-year influence on the Church from 1226 to 2026. The front of the card features a fresco of St. Francis embracing the leper (who is Christ in disguise).
The back of the card has a Prayer to Renew the Church with Religious Vocations:
Renew Your Church, O Lord, through the witness of ardent men and women
who have given up everything for You.
Teach us humility, O Lord, through the joyful poverty
of religious who have renounced worldly pleasure, honor, and wealth.
Stir up your love, O Lord, through the radical example
of sisters and brothers who selflessly serve the poorest of the poor.
Call forth many young people, O Lord, to consecrate their lives entirely to You,
so that, following their example, the Church may transform the world.
