I came up with the “Spiritual Field Kit” to challenge boys to strive for spiritual heroism. I want them to look up to strong men filled with God’s grace, like Fr. Emil Kapaun and Fr. Vincent Capodanno. My idea is to appeal to boys’ innate fighting spirit and give them spiritual weapons, especially the rosary, to become true soldiers for Christ.”
